Allow us to take the unknown out of planning your holiday. With your input of preferred dates, destinations, modes of travel, interests and budget, we can propose an itinerary, make the bookings and send you on your way.

This is an outline of an itinerary, created for three couples traveling together, in April / May  2006.

Flights from Australia to Paris (using frequent flyer points) Each weekly accommodation includes 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living area.

One week in a beautiful apartment in the heart of Paris, close enough to walk to many of the city’s highlights, and 8mins to the closest Metro Station. A week in Paris is easy to fill, but by staying in an apartment rather than a hotel, you can take time out and just be ‘at home’. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts, of fresh baguettes and pastries from the corner boulangerie. After busy days sightseeing, come ‘home’, slip into something comfortable, and have a quiet night in. It’s easier to pretend you’re a local!

To avoid the hassle [terror] of negotiating Paris roads, take the TGV [fast train] south to Avignon. Pick up a hire car at the railway station, and set off for the village in Provence, where you spend a week in a delightful and spacious house.

You can choose to divide your time between ‘village life’ and exploring the countryside and coast line. Start each day with breakfast on the terrace, under the Linden Tree, looking out across the valley.

Shop at the local
market, and relax ‘at home’ with fantastic fresh produce, and great local wine, or eat at a different café or restaurant each night.

The next week, a completely different taste of France – a cottage in a tiny ancient village in Gascony.  The beautiful countryside, fascinating towns, easy driving and lack of tourists makes this region a real treasure. An hour’s drive south, and you’re in the snow clad Pyrenees.  Take the cable car to the top – the view is magical.

In the last week, you can take your time driving back to Paris.  Spend two nights in historic Chateaux along the way, visit the world famous Chartres Cathedral, on your way to the village of Giverny

A night in a charming B&B just down the road from Monet’s Garden, [a must at this time of year], a day at the grand Palace of Versailles. From here you can take the ‘ring road’ to Charles de Gaulle airport, Where you’ll leave the car and catch your flight back to Australia.
